Some Facts

We have been inspired by these facts

First Fact

Even after 2000 years of the incarnation of Jesus Christ, only one-third of the world’s population knows about Jesus and His Gospel of Love, and two-thirds of the world’s population (nearly 5.30 billion) are yet to know about the mystery of salvation preached by Jesus Christ.

About 60% of the world lives in Asia. Even after several decades have passed by since Jesus's beloved Apostle St. Thomas completed his mission in Asia, the Christian presence in the Asian continent presently accounts for only a mere 12.6%. This figure stands in contrast to the Christian demographic distribution in other continents. For instance, Africa boasts a considerable 49%, Europe leads with 63%, and America maintains an average ranging between 75% and 85%.

Second Fact

Jesus Christ has commissioned us with the mission proclamation of His Gospel: In Mark 16:15 we read,” And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation”.

Third Fact

In 1999 Pope John Paul II spoke to us through an encyclical letter “Ecclesia Asia” that the Catholic Church took root in Europe in the first millennium, in Africa, and in America in the second. "May the third Christian millennium witness a great harvest of faith on this vast and vital continent", he added. "The people of Asia need Jesus Christ and His Gospel. Asia is thirsting for the Living Water that Jesus alone can give. (cf. Jn 4:10–15). The disciples of Christ in Asia must therefore augment their efforts to fulfill the mission they have received from the Lord, who has promised to be with them to the end of the age (cf. Mt 28:20). Trusting in the Lord who will not fail those whom He has called, the Church in Asia joyfully makes her pilgrim way into the Third Millennium.

Fourth Fact

Only 10 Years left for the Great Jubilee in 2033. As Christians the greatest gift that we can give to Jesus is an evangelized world; For this mighty task, we need the Power of the Holy Spirit as it was showered upon among the faithful in the first century. Hence we need to earnestly pray for the second Pentecost.
